Rear Suspension Creaking?

Hey guys,

I installed KW V1 coilovers about a month ago now, and i have this bad 'creaking' noise when reversing our of my driveway or go slowly over big bumps.

I never had this noise before and its starting to annoy me! Any ideas what i can check?

On my Polo GTI, with stock suspension, I had the rear shock mounts replaced due to constant creaking. It started occassionally, but it got progressively worse on one side. They were replaced under warranty.... maybe it's the same thing you're experiencing.

If the coilovers give you more suspension movement, then the bushes will be working more than they did.

With my Mini (over 30 years ago), I had something similar that was cured with new bushes and some rubber grease.

Hmm possibly. Are there any aftermarket shock mounts available for the Polo? Powerflex maybe? I'll have a look. I'll just go crazy with some grease first and see if i can rid of the noise temporarily ...
