I personally prefer the ones you already have compared to the newer style in the second pic I quoted

Hi don't mean to hijack the thread but I have a similar situation, a friend has got some second hand OEM Alloys (still in the original boxes and no scratches) there Borbet 6b5 (6,5x15H2) the size is 15 x 6 with 5 studs,(made July 2004) I think for a Mark V Golf.

Checking the Borbert website I can't find the exact model, there is only single 9 spoke alloy wheel on the Borbet website at 19 inch TS and it looks pretty similar except for the size

          Design TS

I like to know to find out the offset on the alloys before he puts them on his Golf, anyone know what to look for or where to look?

            Rendog,

Happy for you to hijack this thread and post a pic up to try and get the info you want

Today I saw the 15 alloys on a Mark 5 2.0 TDI, so I just need to search through some old Golf v brochures I think, hopefully they are online.

Link attached below (as I can't upload pictures), hopefully some has the same and can tell me the offset

the offset will be stamped on the back of the wheel.
Post up some of the text and we can tell you what they are.
Might be marked as a 'ET' number, and my guess is itll be between 45-51.
I dont think Borbet would put them on the website as they were most likely just made for vw.

I'm sure this common knowledge for dub enthusiasts but for dub noob's like me I've found out that 15inch Mark V alloys fit perfectly on a Mark VI Golf.

In this case the 195/65/215 from the mark VI were a perfect fit on the Mark V alloys, no offset issues at all
