Finally have them installed. I also rate the new rubber (Dunlop SP Sport Maxx TT) very highly as well.

Lowering is on the cards, but not entirely sure when at this point.

It sure does. I don't know if it is the new rubber or the wider rim, or the combination of both, but the car grips a hell of a lot better now. The amount of grip in the wet is just plain silly.

225/40 - gives a little bit of stretch to minimise the need for camber if I ever get around to lowering it.
