Can someone confirm this? Can the KW V3 for the MK5 R32 fit the MK6 R? I know that the GTI KW v3's cant be fitted to the Golf R due to diff spring rates, but the R32 and Golf R are both AWD and basically everything is identical more or less?
I wouldn't think so given the different weight distribution...
The v6 was quite a bit heavier.
I heard that they do a different version for TDI as the engine is heavier than TSI...
If you're getting an awesome deal, then it might be worth seeing if you can buy other spring rates and swap them over later
That way if you aren't happy with the balance there is a way to correct it,
2010 Golf R - 3dr - Manual - Rising Blue - MDI - SatNav - Milltek TBE
Ah sorry guys, just checked the details and read the question properly . Yes it will fit and Yes there is a difference in lowering allowances. this is because the Mk6 R starts already slightly lower OEM than the Mk5 R32 OEM height < just a note all OEM springs do have tolerances so your height might not be the same as what you measure on a friends equivalent car. The overall lowering from KW will not exceed the minimum heights allowed by TUV . The axle to fender + the lower seat adjustment ranges are in the instructions, so it shows pretty clearly your full limits so you can adjust with confidence.
