  • Thinking about getting ATS CUP from TunerShop

ATS CUP is my all time favor classic wheel, with Aussie dollar goes up to sky I'm seriously consider getting a set from TunerShop ATS Cup Wheels 15x7 VW Golf Jetta MK1 MK2 MK3 4x100 | eBay

That is very good price, compare to this ATS Cup 7x15 4x100 ET20 VW Golf GTI Mk1 Mk2 MK3 BMW E30 | eBay

Did you just buy the cap or whole set ? ET20 is my only concern, any idea if it'll cause problem ?

I'd double check that the shipping is going to actually be 80 bucks., FIRST.

otherwise those ones on ebay(here) aren't really too expensive.

$80 shipping! that's a sweet deal if that is for real.

I think you can get the Cups in ET +20 and +28. ET +28 would be what you want for a mk1. ET +20 may poke too much. Another offset pro will prob chime in soon enougt to confirm this It would prob pay to ask the TunerShop dudes as they might have ET +28 in stock too (although there other ATS Cup listings are all ET +20).

what tyres? thats the main concern about offset with ET20, if you run standard 195/50's then you will have trouble with rubbing....

I've asked TunerShop, yes $80 is indeed the shipping cost. The whole set include bolt/cap/ring will be around $900 landed

New caps, but not a new set of wheels. An older et28 set that I am having refurbed.

ET20 is a BMW E30 wheel.Same PCD and centre bore but really not that ideal on a Golf.Maybe there's enough meat on the back to shave off 5mm or more.
I think I still have an old ATS brochure and maybe ET20 and ET25 are the same basic wheel.

You might want to check the centre bore though, I think the ET20 are larger for BMW and the ET28 are VW fitment (I might be wrong)...

Same centre bore at 57.1mm.Typically,7x15's for Golf MK1's ran from 25 to 30.BMW's ran from 20 to 30.
