Lowering springs for Golf R

Have noticed that H&R are making springs that lower the R by 20mm and are meant to work with the ACC. Can anyone confirm this,that with these springs you can still use the settings of the ACC?
I'm going to be running 19's with 235 rubber. Have been told that they will rub,is this definitely the case? Also have been told 225 won't. Do they fit an 8 inch wide wheel ok?
Would rather go with the 235. With only a 20mm drop you would think that it shouldnt rub,judging by the space between the guard and the top of the tire in stock form. Has anyone got any history on this topic,thanks!

In relation to the wheels, if the tyre difference is only 10mm, then you need to focus on getting the right offset / wheel width to work with the tyre. Not only will it look better, but also give you a wider track...

The permitted range of wheel widths for 225/35 R19 tyres is 7.5J to 9.0J, so 8.0J are perfectly fine.

However, the load index for 225/35 R19 extra load tyres is 88, which is not only contrary to regulations, but it is too low in regards to safety margins.

The Golf R is capable of transmitting great acceleration, deceleration and cornering forces onto its tyres, so it would be unwise to fit unapproved fitments if you plan on driving it like it's supposed to be driven.
