Are the 17" phat 5 wheels on the Audi TT 205 or 225 width?

I think they are 225, although we never got Phat 5's on the TT over here.

I've got the same spec S3 and OEM is 17" diam, 7.5" wide, 5x100, ET33, with 225 tyres

We have alooooot of fake Phat 5s here in SA.
Theres a guy selling OEM TT wheels with 205 Pirellis, Now I know you can strech them, but 205 on a "225" wheels is pushing it right?

Thing is the fakes are all 205 tyre width, the S3s are 225 tyre width so I assume the TT wheels are also 225 tyre width.

yep, S3 and TT are the same car/spec.

I'd suggest that the fakes are only 7" wide wheels to better suit a 205mm tyre

JK8, are you referring to Tapies set?

The OEM stock wheel is 17x7.5J. 205's will fit perfectly. I run 205's on my 8J's, and they only stretch a little.
