205 60 15 fit on MK3?

as the title says, im wanting to know if 205 60 15s will fit under the MK3, ive recently purchased some 15inch interceptors for the golf and they came with 195 50 15s, altho there good tyres i want some bigger rubber as i want to run flappers, (whitewall inserts)

and am unsure if that size tyre will run fine under the little golf,

PS car will be lowered also

idk if you have a vr6, and if not if the other mk3's have the same sized wheels, but the vr6 runs 205 50 15 as standard, so the 205 60 would be like 20mm difference in diameter.

Id stick with the 195 50's, especially if theyre good tyres, but you could run the 205 60 im sure, might throw out spedo a little but shouldnt make too much difference

Stick with the 205/50s mate, 60 profile is way too big

To big to fit? Or just to big cos they may look big. These wheels arnt for the stretched wide as **** style. These are for rat rod whitewall inserts and dressrims

You might have problems with rubbing cos they're so big. As with the speedo running slower than normal.

this is true, which i was afraid of happening, i do have a pair of spanking 205 50 15s that ill chuck on to check for clearance and see if the flappers i have fit, if all good ill roll with them
