refurbishing my RS 070's....picture biased

got these aeons ago








but they were honking mawkett

kinda right through the washing process

still manky so broke out the polishes

polished up the nuts


the felgenfuchs lips came up well




riotous house tbh


threw them on






camber!!!

pretty much...




pulled the lips off and the 'gaffer' gave them a once over






I prepped and ceramic polished the centres




split and stripped the og valves,fully polished them then got the individual bits cu/ni/cr plated


and built

re-ceramic polished the centres after












collected some original marked bbs weights from og wheels

got the centres cu/ni/cr plated

[dubbed_up_daz]

started removing any machine marks and polishing the lips up












trialled them over some newly sourced 6" barrels which had had the machine marks roughly removed and semi-polished

Finished off the machine mark removal on the barrels and final polishing...last stage pics


















just got to do the last three inners then start on the outer 'visible' parts while I wait on my nuts arriving so I can start building them,should hopefully be finished the inner and outer sides off the barrels/lips for the end of next week work dependant

mines is a 16v as well hahaha....genetically modified brothers lol.

Yeah I know people wont see most of it but most folk wont notice most of the other details once theyre built either.I've built a few fully polished and/or chromed sets now but putting the extra mile into these because theyre mine. Thanks for all the good comments
