Seeking advise for GTI specific suspension tweaks e.g. Eibach Pro-kit & Anti-roll bar kit.
Since switching from my old Integra DC5 Type-R (with Eibach Pro-kit springs) to the MKVI GTI (non-ACC), the most noticable difference on the GTI is its lesser steering wheel sharpness when turning into corners and more body-roll. The steering feels less direct hence the need to turn the steering wheel a lot more then the DC5. The GTI feels 'taller' contributing to the body-roll.
Been looking at Eibach online, reading White James' write-ups and noticed some members like Romp who has ordered Eibachs.
Would like to know:
1. Effectiveness of/experiences from the Eibach Pro-kit and Anti-roll kit specific to the GTI MKVI in terms of performance and suitability along side the stock suspension setup. I assume these are the ones listed as being for the 2.0 TSI specific.
2. Ride comfort comparison to stock.
3. Will the combination of the Pro-kit and Anti-roll kit effectively address the steering sharpness and body-roll issue. Is the difference worth the money spent?
4. Assuming that camber adjustments is not required as the Pro-kit presents minimal lowering of the ride height (1.2") compared to the sportsline (2.0").
I am not looking to spend a fortune on suspension upgrades for track/race use, just the most effective for normal/daily (sometimes spirited) driving.
Other options? Or best just to accept the GTI as is.
