Jap import TA22 or RA23, GT's were never sold here, dead giveaway was the GT grill and Side mirrors on the guards,

could have been an aussie delievered (or non GT) and just had the GT grill and side mirrors fitted. I'm not toyota expert, but i don't think those mods would be too hard.

My first car was a ta22 with a 2tg GT motor. Loved that car to bits and even tho it wasnt as fast as my mk3 CL, it was a hoot to get around in and the noise from the twin carbs was incredible.
