That looks pretty cool. A little lower and it would look supreme.. However i know what you're going through. I lifted the Caddy up a bit for the same reason.

Yeah I got rid of the Polo because it was a nightmare on Melbourne roads, way too stiff. I'm keeping the stocko suspension on this one because I spend most my time in the car and need comfort. 19's dont really optimise this but i was willing to sacrifice a little comfort for these!

Those look real good... that's the kind of colour I was originally going to get my 19" Talledega's done in (will just have to wait until I scratch them now, kinda like the black now)

What's the width on those tyres?

The things i would sacrifice! That looks porn. I'd definitely look into lowering it, but everyone has their own reasons and preferences.

ah the "I've never modified a car before" look.

              10/10 for effort.

                I hate VMR wheels!

but only because they don't make 5x100 LOL

Great look and love the gunmetal as well!

Tyre specs are 225/35 R19. Little bit of stretch which I wanted and the rim lips sit just outside the tyre edge.....perfect for gutters :p

Mate I'd love to lower it as it'd look nuts... and hold myself back every day from ordering a lowering kit, but I really just can't. I travel about 200k's every day and need as much comfort as possible.

Not sure what this is supposed to mean, but my last car was heavily modified, just dont want to do the same again

does that sticks out of the guard? have fun cleaning the side of your car after a short drive even in the light rain....

modifying only fun while it last, u lost most of the money spent when you sell the car... I lost $35k in depreciation of a $23k car+$12k mods on my R33, and $15k in depreciation of a $31k car+$9k mods on my V35... that's $45k down the drain over the past 10 years, which could be preventable if I didn't mod my 2 previous cars...

The current golf might see almost no mods, since I'm leasing, so I'll always remind myself everytime I was gonna reach for my wallet on mods, that: until I paid off the $20k balloon payment in 2013, the car is NEVER mine, so why bother mod it? I'll probably just change some white halogen bulbs or cheap accessories here and there just for a bit of personal 'amusement', but definitely not gonna be anywhere near what I spent on the previous 2 cars...

Not sure how that's possible, as they are in storage at the RTA.
