Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • To BBS or Not to BBS on a small bumper MK2

    Always loved BBS RS/RM's but are they just too obvious and played? Also considering ATS Cups, steelies or just something totally random....
    Done some a P'shop of to see what they look like, trouble is i love 'em all. What do people think?
    BBS;

    ATS Cups;

    Steels;

    Any other suggestions please share.....

    looks awsome on all of them, the best combo would be the bbs' imo or ats cups with single light conversion..

      You see my dilemma!! I was thinking BBS tucked and painted black with silver bolts.

      The pic with the dual light grill is an oldie, just the right angle for the p'chop, its got the single lamp grill on it atm (looks much better too!)

              Probably not and they do look gooooood, trouble is they are the 'default' wheel when modding a car. I had RM's on my old GTI in england and loved 'em to death...

              They did look cool, but they were too thin on the rear.

              He sold em anyway.

                  I have had all 3 on various cars. The BBS and G60 steels on my GTI G60 and I liked the steelies best of all.

                        Aren't those Corrado/G60 steelies? Is there any in Aust.?
                        I'd vote for steelies actually.

                          They are G60's and the'd cost just as much to get a set over here as it would cost for the other 2, which makes 'em expensive for what they are.
