was wondering if anyone knows anyone who could powder coat like this in melbourne? =]

and has anyone delt with "Color your mags"?

Mate I reckon most places should be able to do that.
It might cost you a bit more but all they have to do is tape up one area while they powder coat one part and vice-versa.
Have you asked anyone local?

We do powdercoating here at work, we're actually Oz's biggest user of interpon powder as we are informed. That finish would be done by a full black powder then masking and either pinstriping or painting the red detail over the top. You need a paint adhereing specific powder though as many contail oils that keep the powder glossy and flexible but paint will start flaking off them after a few weeks.
