  • Polo wheels

Hi to all members, I have a question I hope someone may have some knowledge on. I spose u've guessed I own a t4 98-99 model transporter I have found a set of wheels I like but unsure if they will go on to my van.
They are off a Polo GTI with a PCD of 5 x 100 & an offset of ET43 unsure what this means but this is the info I've been given. I think my van has a PCD of 112? & a spiggot dia. of 57.1mm. Please someone any help would be muchly app.

Yep, your Transporter should have a PCD of 5 x 112 (5 wheel studs, 112mm apart iirc) and the polo is 5 x 100.

No point looking at the offset because the holes won't line up. You can get the holes redrilled but they lose alot of strength so the practice is not recommended.
The offset/inset is how far the edge of the rim is to the hub afaik, ie - If the offset is too large the wheels will stick out past the guards and be illegal, or if is too small (inset) they will be too close to the inner guard and will rub around corners etc. It could be the other way around I can't remember.

Thanx for quick hlp. Is there adapters that could help or is it not worth the trouble?

I've seen them, but they push your offset out dramatically and are illegal and probably pretty dangerous.
