  • BC coilovers

Hi guys, just doing some research into various coilover brands. KW seem to be the go, but just looking around at others. Is anyone running BC coilovers in their VW? Or run BC coils in any other vehicle?

Would like to hear some opinions as the price tag seems to be about half of the KW brand. I know the old saying "you get what you pay for" springs to mind, but just after some opinions.

    Thanks

hey, i dont know about any coilovers they put out for vw's but a mate has some on his corrola sportivo and they are stiff as hell.
they are adjustable though, so im not sure what tightness he had it on. he said recently he was gettin sick of it though so i imagine he's already made it softer and he is still sick of it.
i dunno though, thats what ive heard

I had BC's on my lancer and they were fan-friggen-tastic! Loved them, for a budget coilover you cant beat them. There are 3 different versions you can get, V1's, which is what I had and they are the street spec so the softest ones, BR's which are their track spec ones, and the new Gold ones - sort of a cross between the two but are built stronger than the V1's. You can also get different spring rates for most cars from the sellers to soften the ride also.

KW's are worth every cent. Just depends on whether you want to (or can justify) spend the money mate.

          For what car?

What are you after? Drop / looks, performance, comfort?

KW's are meant to be great, weitec are good, Koni can be good.

There are budget brands, AP Coilovers are fairly new to the market and seem to be getting good reviews.
