apparantly tempe tyres have bought out all the tools from simmons and will be producing 3 piece simmons wheels at a way better price then previously from simmons.

Probably but they will be supremely inferior quality and every commonwhore and foulcan will have them.

I wasnt being entirely serious. To be honest I only know Tempe from reputation so im not really qualified to comment.

I find it hard to believe that a professional outfit like Mag wheel Centre would be rejected in favour of someone like Tempe though.

If that's really the case, I hope Tempe do the brand justice rather than try to cash in on it for a short period until the name's rubbish (which will devalue all the existing wheels).

tempe tyres are making replicas but are really good three piece wheels they are still trying to get the colour right in the gold on the FR range.

what's the concensis on tempe wheels? do they actually manufacture the replicas themselves?
i've only just heard about them, and am thinking of getting these r32 replicas

I have the A8s from tempe, had there standard tyres put on (Kuhmos)
they were $600 cheaper then anywhere locally, and had the better tyres, and VW badges. The wheels are good quality, they cant sell you crap thats not up to AUS standards, and im not complaining. bad things i know of is they dont know ANYTHING about offset, and iv heard nasty things about "making" wheels fit under arches etc when they do the install.

i just re-visited their site.

absolutely horrible, the selection they have.

might as well can the whole catalogue and just tell people to put 28 inch rich evans wheels on.... and ''hardcore knight'' style bodykits on, too, while they're at it.
