Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why the Chicago 18" wheels aren't available as an option for the R36?

I would suggest the fact that the R36 already comes standard with 18" wheels. Nothing to say that you can't put them on though...
Maybe they have different offset / widths etc.
Nice wheels though!

I believe it can be done.
They seem to be the same offset and everything as the omanyt's on the .:R36 so i don't see a problem.
You might want to check what the specs are for the stock wheels though to make sure they clear the brake pads.
Just go through ebay/another dealer/the internet if you really want them.Last edited by team_v; 28-01-2010, 06:28 AM.

My car wont be delivered until the end of March, I'll see how much I like the standards once I have the car in the flesh and then check out the Chicago option, also saw some really nice BBS rims on the Jax website as well...too many choices...LOLMY10 R36 Wagon Biscay Blue|Satnav|Bluetooth|Sunroof|Auto Tailgate|Adaptive Cruise Control| - First Time VW Owner

Just be aware that BBS Wheels are going to be horribly expensive through Jax.
Best bet it to go through www.tirerack.com as they have them cheap and shipping isn't too bad.
Will still end up about $1000 under the price that Jax will offer you and gives you the ability to get a set of good quality rubber as well.
