ahhh RE BANANA!! go to any good car place and get a round yellow tin, called BRITESHINE,cotton wadding polish.it smells like kero and is good for any non clear coated rim, like the ones you got.it cleans them up awesome and leaves a slight film to protect.DONT USE ANYTHING ELSE AS YOU CAN DAMAGE THE METAL!!!! NO ACIDS/MEGUIRES/MOTHERS ETC!!!!! or any abbrasive stuff like that paste in a tube....... got the new performanceVW mag,has your rims exactly in there!!!on a polo!!
As for the rim polish, I'm hesitant to recommend something for polished rims. However, I came across this thread on EuroCCA and the guys say to use regular car wash to clean them down, then would be best to apply some wheel wax (e.g. Poorboy's) to keep them looking clean for longer. It also helps get rid of any dirt you come across when cleaning the wheels.
