For anyone after replacement tyres at the moment, I was looking to import from Tirerack, but came across these... don't know why they are so cheap, and are cheaper then what tirerack would have cost me. Getting them fitted tomorrow to the GTi

Mate, just watch them like a hawk with those rattle guns on your wheels. I've had that mob do some handy-work on one of my cars and chewed a nice corkscrew pattern into each lug bolt recess on every one of my alloy wheels.
Cheers,
Snowy

If the cost of the items and shipping are more then $1,000 Australian, then import duties and GST become applicable, under $1,000 Australia, not duties or GST are payable upon Entry.
The cost of the item for customs purposes is worked out as the exchange rate as of the date the item was shipped (left the USA).
If you don't want to pay import duties and GST, then ensure your shipping and items cost is well below the $1,000 Australian.

I just ordered a set of tyres for my Nissan Murano from tirerack. I was quoted $400 per tyre here and there was only 1 choice of tyre. Because I am selling the car, I wanted something cheaper and got some Kumho tyres for $98 USD each! that is 75% cheaper! Even with shipping, I am getting all 4 tires for less than the cost of 2 tires here.2008 Jetta 2.0T FSI | Campella White | HP Supreme Tint | AVC9000 | Digital TV Tuner | Parrot 3200LS bluetooth carkit
