i was looking at these wheels ( http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Performance-A...#ht_500wt_1182 ) for my mk1 and the guy cant seem to be able to work out what the stud pattern is. they are obviously 4 x something and he has sent a message back saying
"I understand now that the PCD can be calculated by using the distance between studs (shown as `s' in the 4 stud pattern diagram) and multiplying by 1.414. Therefore my wheels should be 70 x 1.414 = 98.98. Or using the other equation of dividing by 0.7071 it comes out as 70/0.7071 = 98.99. "
now the number being so close to 100 does it mean they are 4 x 100? or does this guy have no idea at all what he is talking about and the stud pattern is something else all together?
also the offset, would that be ok with the coilovers or are they totally a wrong fit for my car? phew i think thats it.
