MK3 VR6 wheel spacers

Bought few days ago set of 4 wheels for my MK3 VR6 and now I need wheel spacers, but have no idea which one (5mm, 10mm, 15mm etc).
My current wheel spec is : BBS, 15"x6.5", 5x100, ET 43, part no 1HO601025AA.
New wheel spec is 15"x6", 5x100, ET 38, part no 1J0601025B.

I used Wheel Offset Calculator from some website (founded here) and result is:
Inner clearance: 11mm MORE (the inside of the strut housing).
Outer position: RETRACT by 1mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel).

I am wondering which wheel spacer I need to used and do I need wheel spacers for back wheels or just for front wheels.

I am thinking too about using same or diferrent (longer) wheel lugs.

The rears look like they clear the brakes, but the fronts are fouling the brakes? Just measure the distance the wheel will be from the hub when it doesn't foul the brakes and that's the thickness you should go for. We can't specify an exact thickness of a spacer you should buy as it's just pictures we're going from.

If you do buy spacers though, please buy longer lugs to accommodate for the extra thickness (i.e. if your current lugs are 26mm long and you buy 5mm spacers, find some 31mm lugs or have some made up).

Edit: Offset has nothing to do with brake caliper clearance by the way, so the specs about the new wheel size and offset compared to the original doesn't help.

Ah the 280 brakes right? Those wheels would clear 288's, I reckon a 5mm will be more than enough mate.

Or run a 10mm (or more) to clear the brakes and bring the wheels closer to the guards, looks much better

wheel spacer thickness is up to you. just to clear the brakes prob 5mm like Golf Houso said?

Rule with the bolts (eg the sizes we use for our wheels)... a bolt is at its full strength when it has its length in diameter in the nut. eg M12 bolt needs 12mm of thread in the nut, M14 needs 14mm. so in our case its the hub rather then the nut.
You can get away with less but from a engineering side of things its a good rule in high tensile situations.

Any idea who selling spacers (maybve someone from here)?

I think 5mm is enough. I put some washers 5mm on all bolts (lugs) and clear brakes well done.

You want your spacers to be hub-centric to 57.1mm.

All spacers should be hub centric. If you go beyond the spiggot then they should always be wheel centric and hub centric.
