Rim shippment

Has anyone here ever had rims imported from the UK?

If so, how much did that set you back, and how was it packaged?

Also, what company did you use to get them shipped here?

Unless you can get them into a container with a bunch of stuff your best friend (who's got a container load of stuff coming over), it's going to cost you an arm or a leg, you'd be far better of paying a premium here for what you want.
If you buy them chep off ebay and then get them shipped and then they still need refurbishment you'll have ended up paying probably 3 times as much as you could buy them for here.
And the ones that are already in good condition on ebay never go for that cheap anyway.

Oh an never have had rims shipped here, but have had motors, gearboxes and big boxes of parts shipped over, some buy sea some by air, all of which were extremely expensive.
