    and another question! sorry about all these.

    could someone explain brake clearance to me? i mean, if your brakes are too big for the wheel to fit, you would need to put on spacers, yes? but with just a quick google search i found out that spacers are illegal :S

      yeah but if they have split rims, the inner barrels would be wide hence no spacers ect

        Which would mean they have high offset

        Spacers are illegal unless you have it engineered. So is non-standard wheel fitment. And so is stretched tyres.
        Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
        Present: Mk3 Golf variant.
