  • Early 90'sish BMW 15"s on my 95 VR6?

    Hey all.

Im looking at buying these bad boys.

All i know about them is that they are 5 stud, 15" and the tires on them were 225 r15. The Rims are stock off a BMW 728i 1981

They're 5x120, and unless you have adapters ($$$) they're not going to fit. On the other hand, if they are flat backed and the centrebore isn't to bit, you can have them re drilled to suit your VR6

I'd also say that the offsets won't do your vr much justice so running adapters might not be such a bad idea to push them out a bit otherwise, re-drill them and buy spacers

A wicked looking wheel though! If they're the right price, snap'em!

Branko's right on the stud pattern. With wheels like this, you're looking at spending another ~$500 on adapters and another ~$500 on tyres, as I'm sure the stock 15" tyre size for a 7 series would have a profile higher than 50.

            Ask me how I know!
            Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
            Present: Mk3 Golf variant.
