Hi there. I'm looking at getting some custom Simmons wheels made for my Mk3.
What would be the best fitment for a Euro style look, I want 7.5 inch wide on the front and 8.5 inch on the rear by 16 inch? I really would like to know the best set to have.

I'd say ET35 for the fronts and ET25 for the rears. I'd recommend you roll the guards as well, even if to just be on the safe side...

Might want to take a look at these:

Based on the ever-popular R10 Turbo, the new R50 is a modern twist on a truly classic design and is quite possibly the coolest new wheel we’ve seen in a

I think they would look ace and i doubt anyone has them here.
        Also suits the euro/german theme.

Simmons would be pretty expensive too wouldn't it? Compomotive makes a similar wheel (TH Mono, check out dubmeister.co.uk or rimstyle.co.uk) so you could probably ask them about the cost of importing them in.

By Euro-style, are you looking for poke or flush offsets??

                More expensive than custom-made Simmons?

                    each? or for a set?!

I know simmons were in the middle of going bust recently but that price is nowhere near what ive seen other people pay for wheels from them.

If you're thinking 7.5" wide on the front and 8.5" on the rears, go for ET25 all round.

I'll second these figures, though depending on what camber you run i'd even say a 20 on the front, they wont give you too much poke and will give you that phatt wider rear stance your after

That's gotta be each. I called around early this year and got that.

BBS wanted 10 grand for a set of 18x8 LMs

                          I'm not stupid spending that

hmm, i thought 1600 sounded too pricey for 1 16" Simmon yet too little for a set! lol, "custom" wheels arent cheap no matter the brand; If your really after some multi piece dish for your dub and in no real hurry i reckon your best bet would be to keep on the hunt for second handies. Don't forget to check out jdm importers, they turn out some golden rims!

ROH do custom 3 piece wheels and they really arent that expensive. Mate got a set of 16x8 16x9 with close to 0 offsets for this R31 and they came to around 1500$ for the set with painted centres and all.
I would have thought you would be looking at around 2k for a set of 16" custom Simmons, they aren't that over priced!
