If you want to go somewhere close to Liverpool then BigO is usually reasonable. Or Blairs in cabra.

Otherwise the 3 brothers in St.george (Tempe, Taleb, St,George) are only at the end of the M5 20 minutes down the road.

I'm sure I won't be the first or last to say it, but Tempe have a bit of a bad reputation. Is it unfounded these days?
                Nothing to see here...

So no supporters of Ozzy? They've got a set of Porche reps that look nice, shame...

Wouldnt say cheap, but more along the lines of not overly/excessively priced, but still being assure quality and class.

I dunno. They can be unhelpful both on the phone & in person. I'm not keen on St.George or Taleb (don't give a toss) but I've bought a few tyres from Tempe and they've been really helpful, good customer service, good price, etc.

One of my work colleagues was recently phone shopping for some 22" rims & tyres for his new VE Commode. He lives at Penrith. He was getting prices of $3200 upward to $5000. I told him to try all 3 of the princes hwy mob. He didn't bother with tempe because he got some idiot on the phone that was unhelpful. Range Taleb and they were OK. Quoted him $2800. I was expecting totally horrible Nankangs or LingLongs but he got falken FK452s which are a good tyre. reckons the guys were really pleasant & would buy from them again.

I shopped around for mine recently and found tempe very UNhelpful. Went in there in person, and they didnt really want to take the time to help me. I was ready to pay cash then and there, but they said they werent sure what they had that would fit, and didnt bother looking it up for me or anything. Mind you it was very busy at the time, but a little customer service never goes astray.
Ive found St George Tyres very helpful and always return my emails, and also found Hus at Ozzy tyres very helpful, always returns messages and emails, via blackberry most of the time. I think the quality of the wheels at Ozzy is quite a bit better than their rivals, which is probably why a lot of show cars have the Ozzy wheels on them.
Never had anything to do with Taleb.
