  • 16in mk1 golf wheels to swap - or advice needed!

    Hi all,

I've had a bit of a 5 week nightmare getting these wheels to fit my mk1 golf, intially it was just getting the right bolt size / thread length etc but at the weekend (and a 3 mm space to clear the calipers) i realized one of the wheels is missing a flange for the bolt to fit against - the bolt would go straight though and hence i think that would mean the wheels could fly off!

    so question 1)
The other holes on the wheel are 4 x 112 (as opposed to 4 x 100) can i change my hubs so they are 4 x 112?

this is probably way too much hassle so.....
    question 2)
does anyone want some 16" 4 x 112 wheels (description below)
ideally to swap for some 16" 4 x 100 wheels?

They are 16" speedy (will post some pics tomorrow) tyres are good year, 205, 45 and in very good condition with LOTS of tread

Rim style is like the old hockenhiem if that helps

If not i'll sell them and try again!

PM sent but i'll check the finances first as there PLENTY of other things i need to spare some dollars for - hence i was glad to get some cheap wheels that came with good tyres
