  • VR6 stiffer springs

    hey guys and girls

I am currently running Koni yellow shocks with Eibach springs on my mk3 VR. Front and rear.

Currently the front are fine and the stiffness of the springs suit me well. the rear though are a little too soft.

I am purchasing some spacers for the rear for a little more poke (nothing drastic) and I wanna keep the koni's.

can anyone point me in the right direction for low, heaps stiff, rear springs? I dont wanna change my whole setup, just the rear springs

    thanks
    eric

I think you should be able to find some better Eibach springs...I've known of a few setups that use Koni and Eibach (including mine) where the rears are really quite nice...I'm not sure how stiff you want it but mine feel quite stiff.

Failing that you could get some hectic kingsprings or something uleh..

You could take your rear springs into a spring specialist and get them to replicate them but with a stiffer spring rate. Shouldnt cost too much tbh. At least that way you can get exactly what you want and the exact height you were after

Yellows should be adjustable all around? Even Reds are, except Reds require you to remove the shock first before you could adjust dampening...
