  • got bored, got some spares

well grabbed some TT wheels of Ray Ray in dec.. finally decided to put some tyres on and get them sprayed in gunmetal grey as well.. came out quite nicely!

will have them on and off, comes handy now i have some wheels that i can go on track.. or sell them and get something else who knows!

thanks to Jade @ Rosebery for spraying them up for me

Ooh nice and glossy. I'd have gone for a metallic finish cos I'm nuts about metallic wheels but yummy all the same

How much did it cost for the respray if you don't mind me asking?

A set like these went on eBay recently for < $400. I wish I'd picked them up now, they'd have made a nice set of track wheels...
          Nothing to see here...

I tend to agree, but it does depend on the car height, wheel spec and wheel design....

                so kiss my ..... lol

they didnt cost me much to get sprayed up. i'll post a pic when they are on the car, currently they are on the floor in the living room, they look good 'on' the floor.

small, however a LOT of fun to drive on in comparison to the 19s! plus just for fun/track+when i wanna clean up the other wheels because its painful doing it on the car!

I want to get some like these I think in the near future, but they're all too far away or way too expensive. They look good in gunmetal.

Good thing i got them then. I too am thinking about painting them a darker colour. Not sure how dark yet though.

The other thing i'm thinking about is centre cap options.

How do the centre caps look with your colour Pierre? I've been wondering whether it would be worth colour coding the inner (non-aluminium) part of the cap but, the audi logo would probably break if i tried to get it off so i'd probably just have to spray over it.... or get a fine brush.
