  • Getting KW's serviced/repaired??

I have a mate who has a dead KW shock and needs to get it repaired, is the only option to have it sent back overseas?! anywhere in Qld or Aus that can do this?!

    Thanks . . . Alex

I just confirmed this for a customer yesterday. East Coast Suspension can't service the shocks on site yet, so it's back to Germany at this stage

He has now merged with East Coast Suspension.

David is now the main KW contact and as I just said, they need to go back to Germany

Hmmm, KWs... Need to get a quote for my Bora for v2s, and then wonder just how I'm going to put the cash together to afford them...
          Nothing to see here...

            Hoyhoy.
Alex, I have to tell thats about it, but in saying this I have had me KW-V3's at a local engineer in Tweed Heads for a long time (he's a busy man) but should be ready soon. Even the V3's aren't really anything special inside, the hard part was getting them apart, he had to make a very high tensile tool to do the job, he's weighed the oil that came out & had it annalysed, its pretty much like a bike shock. Can't remember exactly right now the grade of oil, but nothing special. Can back to ya later on that one.
P.S. Me hoping that this works out OK, then will be getting them dynoed afterwards.
            Hooroo.
