  • BBS project FINISHED

Well guys as you know I have a few BBS.

Thought Id share the set, which I've just finished pouring heaps of time into some 15inch BBS rs which are destined for my sister’s convertible, not for kissing gutters.

    Anyways specs are 15x6.5 et17.

Been split, polished and painted. All 120 bolts polished individually and reassembled. Giving the result below, which I’m very happy with, all that time and mess has paid off.

Bolts waiting in line to be polished.

    All Bolts finished and polished.

    Completed wheels.

Those are absolute peaches. What car are they going on i'd be very interested to see the final result. Excellent work - I've got the same wheels except different size, this is the inspiration i need to get them all shined up

Mate that's some fantastic, jaw-dropping work you've done. I'd say I was proud of you, but that's what a father tells his son or a priest tells his alter kid.... *ew*

Cheers guys for all the compliments. It took some patience and a few sore fingers damn spokes.

As for the bolts, I polished all 120 on the buffing wheel with rouge/buffing compound and then waxed the lips and bolts once assembled.

can I strongly recommend you run the brakes without pads, that way your nice sparkly wheels won't get all dirty

I used the same buff and rouge on all of it. Then some mothers metal polish and finished with some Meguiars car wax.

If i keep them waxed and washed weekly they should keep their shine. But that’s up to my sister now, wishful thinking.
