  • BBS wheels on a MKV GTI

    Hi guys,

forgive me for my ignorance and lack of knowledge, but will a set of '16x7 (+24), 16x8 (+33) 5x114.3 BBS Wheels' fit the MKV GTI?

mkv's stud pattern is 5x112. and also they use a lot higher offset, like 40-50. you could get those on there with wobble bolts (also known as 14twelve bolts from raderwerks), but the offsets would make the wheels stick out too far and would look silly considering their small diameter.

hope this helps and if any of that jargon doesnt make sense let me know.

You need at least 17s for mkv gti

5x114 will work if you get wobble bolts or drill the stud pattern out a mm or so. Which needs to be done due to the thicker bolts on mkv.

I’ve got some 17x8 et43 and 17x8.5 et40+ if you keen. 1 barrel has a buckle and they need to be put together. If your keen PM me, Otherwise my mates going to rock them for a while.
