Banding an extra 1.5" to the inner side of the barrel... these were 17x7 5x100 BBS LMs!

    I wouldn't be brave to!

are they genuine? is the band on LM's magnesium alloy as well as the face? if so, how the hell do you weld magnesium alloy... i'd bet they're fakes.

yeah in the third pic you can clearly see the silver bits and welds through the spokes.

I would think that they would paint them again where the work had been done before putting them back on the car though, wouldn't they?

If done properly it would be fine, seen it done before with no problems. You would have thought they would grind back and paint the welds, maybe this guy was just lazy! Look dope as though

OH my! Clean up in garment number one!!

I'd do it for sure. Not personally, cause I'd be way too scared, but I'd pay top dollar for a professional (read: professional perfectionist ) if I knew how good the result would be.

He added it on the wrong side of the centre IMO.

I’m sure its safe if done right but not something I'd do to 5x100 LMS.

dont think they are genuine LM's, where is the split section in pic 2?

being 2 piece wheels they have to have a bead somewhere along the rim of the wheels, look like copies to me
but on another note.... i see BBS brandings on the face.... so weird

I think these two piece wheels have an entire barrel as one piece, and the centre face as the second piece! The BBS RSII I have are like that.
