I'd like to see black rims and no foggies on a burgundy mk3, thinking of heading in a similar direction
Lol, the foggies/reflectors aren't there because the car was in a prang lol... I've had to butcher both front and back bumpers a bit so they sit on straight Yeah just as soon as I get my lowered springs from Alex and put the semi-slicks on next week I'll take some pictures, it should be good.
And considering my other MK3 was all show and no go I'd really like to do something different with this one.
Another update, just put a deposit on a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE001's. I should be getting them tomorrow arvo. They were only $10 more per tire than the Falken "semi-slicks" (as some of you have been saying).
VW: it aint just a car, its a way of life There are few things more satisfying in life than finding a solution to a problem and implementing it
My Blog: tinkererstales.blogspot.com.au
Check back a page I've already made my decision, just thought people would be interested in how it would all turn out. I was just looking for some input in what to paint them that's all... Oh and thanks for the input, I think you've just answered your own question
I'm going 205/50's I couldn't care less about stretch or whether or not the car conforms to the regular "norms" of VW styling at the moment, I really just want a reliable daily that I like and won't draw too much attention.
