  • Coilover question - mkv gti

    Hey guys,

I have H&R coilovers fitted to my MkV GTi, and I have one simple question:

In the rear the winding plates in which the spring sits in lets you adjust the height (ie: compression of coil).

Can this be taken out in order to bring the back of the car further down?

I hope this makes sense to people.

I'm not familiar with H&R but I wouldn't think so, that's what holds the spring in on all the coilovers i've seen.
