  • which coilovers?

hey guys, i'm a little undecided about this whole coilover deal. the hottuning were good, especially for low. (damn they went low ) but i want something a little... proper-er.

i've been looking into FK silverline konigsports, H&R PCS/clubsports and Weitec Hicon TXs.

most of them are height and damper adjustable, infact i think they all are, except the weitecs aren't stainless bodies.

experience? recommendations? i dont wanna go into pss9/10 or v2/v3 kinda money and i'm a little inclined toward the FKs. cause.. i dunno why

i like the idea of my chassis rusting before everything else . also, apparently the weitecs are basically v3s but without stainless steel housings.. ??

    help!!

I have a set of FK sport + (i think thats their model) on my mkiv.
They are pretty good. height and dampener adjustable.
They go from softer than stock all the way to pretty stiff.
    Cost me $1200 landed.
I dont think you should worry about the SS bodies, I cant imagine they would rust too quick here in Aust.
FK is good for the cash outlay.

Are you going to be doing track work (dedicated) or street stuff? That's very important.

Dont discount the effect of all the other suspension components on the cars ride quality either. bushes, tyre size/type, sway bars etc.

IMO dampener adjustibilty would be very important to me..

I think he's looking for a little more tunability with them. Besides, he doesn't have his Hottunings anymore
