Advice on Seating wheel studs

My wheel stud conversion kit finally arrived from Motorsport hardware. When fitting the wheel studs (M14) is there a recommended torque spec for seating? Do I need a dab of loctite too?

What do they look like?

It might be best to contact the manufacturer about the best way to torque them down.

long nosed with allen key fitment. A shoulder between the seated part and the actual stud that the rim fits on.

looks like other guys are dabbing loctite and torquing it up to 50ft-lbs

50ft/lb is only 68Nm. The wheel bolts are usually 120Nm aren't they? I'd go at least to that with a dab of loktite.

Sounds a bit much Passats are 90nm

i just figured it came down to the mating surface, the wheel bolts have a much larger area against the wheel lines than just the stud going into the hub

Golfs 120Nm - which isn't very tight.

ecs' kit seems to suggest threadlocker + 15nm is enough

Tis too on reflection was my Landcruiser mags? that were only 90 Checked the torque wrench in my boot and its set at 120

thanks fellas - RE torque wrenches they have cheapies for 30 bucks at Aldi!
