    Hi all, are we dependant on Dealers to update maps or can we shortcut the process - even if not free?

    this might work for you.
    2016 MY17 Polo GTI with DA package. TMD fitted + Weather strip and Snow Screen removed otherwise dead standard.

      I can't belive VW sell you the car without updating to the latest available maps!

        My dealer said they can update it when servicing the car if there's update.
        But I also wonder if we can download it to SD card to update ourselves.
        Current car - MY18 GOLF GTI mk7.5 Indium grey with DAP and Infotainment package
        First car - MY15 Honda Jazz VTi-S metallic steel grey

          Yukari, I have done it. You don't need necessarily need the dealer. You need software from VW called "Discovercare" which guides you through the process. The instructions are here:
