I have a 2007 built Golf Comfortline 2.0 TDI. Love the car but I am very disappointed with the ipod interface and the SAT NAV.
Is there any way of updating the set up with a firmware update so the the functions are modified. Ony being able to access the first 5 playlists and no displayed track names is really getting to me.
Also the SAT NAV is fairly primitive and difficult to use. It has no capacity to remember past routes or to modify the the selected route for individual preference. I would like to reprogram the whole unit with a better set up. Is anyone working on a modification to these units?
I heard a rumour that VW will release a new system in Oct 2008. Does anyone know anything about this? Will they offer an udate to existing owners?
