  • My wildest install yet.

Tommorow, i will begin the wildest install i have ever atempted on the VR6.

So wild, i will be reducing the seating capacity.
So wild, it will feature a 195/50 r15 tire as a show peice
So wild, It will have space for a fridge
So wild, I will be able to fit 2 swags, and all my camping gear in it
So wild, i will still have a 10" sub, 2 amps, and alll associated gear.

    How wild?

    Wait till tommorow!

I won't give to much away, But, when i open the boot, all you will see, when the remaining bseat is folded flat in Space mode, is, Nothing.
Everything will be hidden, and the floor will be perfectly flat from the Tailgate, to the FRONT seats. the only things in the boot will be the spair tire. The sub box is going in the rear passenger side foot well. The 4 channel is going in the spare tire well. (already there) The mono will go where the small seat was. And a faulse floor will cover the lot. The floor will be trimmed in Rubber backed marine carpet. I will be getting an Enkle fridge for camping trips, and that will go where the small seat would be, and on top of the sub box and amp. with the large seat folded, i'll be able to fit 2 swags, the fridge, a full size spare, and other gear, all for a nice long holiday, without looseing the subbie! Also, when its all folded falt, the car will look striped out. liuke a proper rally car.

I am also making every attempt at making the lot as light as posible. The floor will be made of 5.5mm masonite, suported on a pine frame for strength.

I reckon it's all that 'choof' out there ... keeps coming up with all these 'way-out' ideas.

lol. The floor is nearly finnished. I disvovered a nail gun, and it's making it s much easyer! I have to get more wood though, and i still need to buy carpet.

Then i have to fit the other amp, and fit the sub. Lets see if this works!

I'm picturing back seats out wooden box installed. May I suggest you make it a black box incase you get airborn while rallying...
