Hey guys wanting to put a RCD510 into my partners jetta and wondered if anyone knows what model RCD510 has the usb connection? I understand Ill need a can gateway upgrade too?

None have it built in but you can get adapters. You can get a Delphi slightly cheaper but you miss out on other things on the Bosch (RDS for example)Originally posted by dubster99 View Post

Either way you don't get an inbuilt USB port you'll need either the Delphi USB interface or MDI cable depending on what you buy and tuck it away somewhere - usually glove compartment.Comment

just keep the RCD300, and get a Yatour adaptor which gives you AUX, SD, USB, and optional bluetooth hands free (BTM)...
I have been using it for over 2 years now without any issues. works great, especially the bluetooth hands free.
Easy to install, no worries with gateways etc, and a cheaper option
