5G0 035 456 - Component Protection

Hi,

I'm having trouble with an amplifier unit that I bought to replace the one that had on my golf mk7(5G0 035 456).
It is not being activated because the active component protection in the Can Gateway.
I saw that it is necessary to make the virgin unit again for it to be active.


How can I perform this procedure?

Only way im familiar with is the dealers ODIS software which is a one click button that takes off component protection, maybe speak to your local dealer they may be able to help you out.

Component protection is removed at the dearship, need to go online to do this with VW server. After thats released then it needs to be coded upto the car which can take some time.
