New RNS-510 POI Appointed Dealer in South West Sydney

Hey RNS-510 VAG brand users of the GPS touchscreen / hard drive media centre. If you're in Sydney's south, south-west, or west, there's good news for you - I've just become a dealer/installer of the Custom POI (Points of Interest) as shown here:

Featuring the ability to display up to date locations of speed cameras, red light cameras, and heaps more (195 categories). It's even searchable, so you can find a shop / servo etc and be navigated to it.

It's a real bargain at $20 --- Installed! I'm certainly not doing it for the money.... Rather, it's a chance to meet other VAG enthusiasts.

I can do firmware upgrades as well as a few other cool things.

Well I downloaded the key and hey presto the software doesn't actually work on new VAG vehicles, at least Skoda Octavias anyway, so a premature announcement on this thread.

I would just like to clarify, as per the link above it does state that the POI's are only compatible with RNS510 unit, these are found in Volkswagens and Skoda's known (as Columbus). Your payment was refunded immediately, being a newer platform vehicle it requires a lot more work, however we do have a POI being worked on at the moment.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I'd like to add that you don't actually download anything. You purchase the custom updated POI license. A dealer then installs the license on your vehicle.
