i need to know how to get the code for the head unit in my golf its a mk 3 cabby and it the stock unit. i wouldn t bother but its got a ten stacker in the boot and i would like to keep it.

When I needed one I simply rang the supplying VAG dealer and quoted the VIN - they were really helpful surprisingly.
If its a Eurovox then you could try calling Eurovox - there may be a fee but Ive found them very helpful with other problems too. -
