Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

    Sony XAV65 in a 2006 Multivan?

    Hi All,

    The CD player in the Multivan refuses to play CDs anymore, so it looks like time for an upgrade.

    Supercheap have the XAV65 http://www.sony.com.au/product/xav-65 on special at the moment for $299 and I was considering it. I was wondering what was involved with installing this myself and where I would find out what to do. Existing unit is a double-din 6 stack, factory fitted I think, so this one should slot in ok I assume?

    Any advice (including "run!" or "buy X instead" welcome)
