  • AERPRO wiring harness does not fit my Golf!

    Hey all,

Hope someone will be able to make an alternative suggestion.

I'm upgrading the head unit in my 2001 MK4 Golf GTI. Pulled out the CD player VW head unit currently in there however the AERPRO harness I have purchased doesn't fit! I purchased the APP064 harness (recommended for vectra/astra) but rather than a double ISO it is a single ISO plug.

Have googled far and wide but can't come up with any answers. Would prefer not to go pay someone to install when it's simple enough to plug and play yourself.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to which AERPRO harness to use? Theres probably 4 or 5 that only have a single ISO plug...

    Cheers,
    the_clive

EDIT: Solved the problem, ISO connecters hidden further down behind stereo. Cheers!

The best way would be to cut the existing radio harness leaving enough wire if you want to reinstall, I imagine the new radio has a harness , then its only a matter of soldering the ends together , You can find out what the colour code is for the Mark 4 off the net and the new radio should have tags for installing ,
