  • Custom Phone Dock

    Hi guys,

having had my Golf 7 for a week or so now, I find that plugging in my phone with the long usb cable and storing it in the compartment (in front of the shifter) is a bit of a pain, sometimes the cable gets stuck with the opening mechanism etc. It's quite a small problem I know but it's something I'd like to fix anyway.

I'm designing a little "dock" for my phone. Basically, I'll be able to open the compartment and slide my phone into the dock, and it'll get plugged into the usb port at the back which is fixed the the part I'm making. I still haven't worked out the specifics, but the basic principles are there.

Let me know what you think! (the opening won't be that wide when I make it, it'll be at least 6")

    Do a google for Holdmyphone.com.au
Ive used their kits in Falcons, Subarus and Toyotas.

There quality is fantastic and everything clips in never any glue or screws.
