RNS 510 Sat Navigation - Does not register last desination

I am having these problems with my RNS 510 Sat Nav -

• It does not register the Last destination
• I cannot delete the existing entries in memory. It disappears from the list when I delete but when I return to the memory function they reappear

Has anyone encountered these issues?

last as in yesterdays trip or last as in your are entering a journey and it wont enter end address.

Can delete previous memory entries no problem. cant remember how but it always works.

what firmware are You on and have you been playing with the settings as they are quite complex when you get right into them.

Cant check my car as its in secure storage for next two months.

Usually it registers the last trip I completed in the Last Destinations. That has not worked for a while now. I thought it might be full in memory, so I went in and deleted several destinations in memory. But the deleted items keep coming back.

I am wondering if there is a way to reset the system to factory settings. Then I will put the latest firmware back and the maps.

If I remember correctly it has a reset ability. go into advanced navigation settings or if all else fails I found a good read of the RNS manual was very informative

thanks, i will give it a try when i get back today. will plug in the VCDS (did I spell it right) cable to see if picks up any fault codes.

Just needs a reset and a read of the manual I think
