HELP - iPhone MDI not working properly???

Hi,

I'm hoping someone may be able to help. I currently updated my iPhone to the new IOS and now when I plug the MDI cable in it charges my phone and displays the audio track as per normal but I am now getting no sound and it's not actually playing on the phone either???

Any suggestions?
